Description
These are new production P7 barrels. This has been a painstaking process including: importing APX4 martensitic stainless steel from Aubert Duval in France (same steel H&K used on the P7 series), these are then cold hammer forged on custom polygonal tooling with proper twist rates and dimensions, stress relieved for best dimensional tolerances during machining, machined including factory spec chamber flutes by RCM, heat treated for maximum tensile strength including cryogenic quenching followed by tempering, and finally a low temperature plasma nitride to maintain the corrosion resistance of this high grade stainless steel while providing a very hard surface to provide a lifetime of service for target all the way to +p+ loads. This effort was taken on with the understanding that the heart of the quality seen with all H&K firearms starts with the barrel and no expense was spared ensuring this was done right and these barrels proudly carry a lifetime warranty.
